The V47AA-1 is a direct-acting temperature-actuated water regulating valve with a 3/8" NPT connection, 115-180°F heating point range, and durable cast brass construction.  It has a 6' capillary, 11/16" diameter, and 3 1/4" long bulb (Style 4) with a 1/2" NPT external fitting for secure connections.

The temperature-actuated modulating valve is used to regulate the flow of water or glycol to maintain a desired temperature.  It features no close-fitting sliding parts in the water passages, preventing clogging and wear, while the range spring does not come into contact with the cooling water, ensuring longer life.  The valve also has a manual flushing option for easy maintenance.

The V47AA-1 is easy to install with a valve design that minimizes the risk of water hammer and chatter.  The STT14A-600R seat repair kit, WEL18A-602R bulb well accessories, and SET29A-622R sensing element replacement parts are also available.
